Colin Laramée-Plouffe

After years of experience at Molson Canada, Colin founded Orkestra with the goal of injecting a healthy dose of creativity into the events industry. Nearly 20 years later, that idea has evolved into the agency behind many of the largest gatherings in the National Capital Region. Over the years, he has led major experiential projects such as the creation of Festibière, the Gatineau Comedy Festival, Interzip, and the launch of Igloofest in Gatineau.

His leadership style reflects Orkestra’s ethos: direct, casual, and focused on tangible results. For Colin, success hinges above all on honesty, team strength, and an obsession with the customer experience. He is a co-president who gives everyone a voice, values good ideas no matter where they come from, and never hesitates to get back in the field to lend a hand when the situation calls for it. He’s the first to jump on board, and even today, the last to leave the office.
