Maxime Girard

A director, editor, and motion designer, Maxime has over 10 years of professional experience behind the camera, writing and directing projects all over the world. In addition to Orkestra, he has worked at Beside, DBcom Media, and Radio-Canada. His specialty: documentaries rooted in nature, the environment, and the local landscape—an expertise that aligns perfectly with many of our projects. His editing work has earned him an award at the Dérapage Festival, and his expertise is so strong that the NFB, UdeM, and UQAM have invited him to teach.

But what truly sets him apart is that he combines two qualities that rarely go hand in hand: the creative eye of a director and the organized mind of a coordinator. Most people excel at one or the other. Max handles both well, making him the perfect leader for agile productions where you need to focus on creating the best possible creative product…while keeping the machine running smoothly at the same time.
