If there’s one project that has everyone dreaming, it’s this one. A 100% Quebec rocket scheduled to take off within the next year. As much as we love ambitious ideas, it’s hard to imagine anything bolder than sending something into space.
That’s exactly what Reaction Dynamics (RDX), a Quebec company developing hybrid propulsion technologies that are far too brilliant for us, is doing. From our first meeting with Bachar, Maxime and their team, we knew we wanted to get on board. Their passion is contagious, their vision clear, and their expertise… well, let’s just say we understand about every other word – but we trust them blindly.
So we did what we could: we invested, on our own scale, via Alliance, our division dedicated to start-ups that can benefit from our agency know-how. And we had the chance to develop their branding, to give them a look that matched their mission.
And things are moving fast. The Quebec government has just announced a $10 million investment to support the final qualification of their hybrid engine. A few days later, RDX raised a further $14 million in a Series A round unveiled at the Paris Air Show, bringing their total funding to $38 million. It’s no longer just a dream on paper: suborbital flight is scheduled for next winter, and orbital launches as early as 2027, from a base in Nova Scotia.
You can’t change the world with a brand. But if it can help propel a Quebec project into space, that’s something!
“It’s not rocket science…” until it is.
By the way, you can take a look at their new brand right here.
