The goal was to modernize the brand of one of the largest festivals in the Outaouais and showcase the scope of its diverse programmation, while keeping in mind that not all festivals can boast about having "hot air balloon" in their name.
With headliners such as Les Trois Accords, Loud, Daniel Bélanger and Nickelback, it's understandable that the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival would want to showcase them. There's also dozens of activities for the family, a caravanning area the size of a micro-nation, an amusement park, fireworks and more. At the same time, we can all agree that the icon of the FMG, proud of its 32 editions, remains the legion of 70-foot high buildings floating in the blue September skies.
